I assume that you accept the scientific consensus that carbon emissions are indeed causing global warming and that this process, if allowed to proceed and increase unchecked, will put in question the survival of humanity. The question is therefore whether (1) we should speak the truth regarding this reality and (2) promote action to meet this danger.
